The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna differs from conventional Nigerian universities. Undergraduate cadets admitted into the Academy receive Federal Government sponsorship, which covers tuition, accommodation, feeding, uniforms, and military training. As a result, cadets do not pay regular tuition fees, unlike students at other public universities.
