Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, is a state-owned university offering accredited undergraduate programmes across disciplines such as Medicine, Law, Engineering, Sciences, Arts, Education, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Management, and Social Sciences. Admission into OOU is available through UTME and Direct Entry (DE) for the 2026/2027 academic session. 

 

OOU Admission Requirements 2026/2027

To be eligible for admission into any undergraduate programme at OOU, candidates must meet the following requirements:

UTME Candidates

  • Choose Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) as your first-choice institution or change your first choice to OOU.

  • Score at least 160 in the 2026 UTME (some competitive courses require much higher scores).

  • Obtain five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

  • Participate in the OOU Post-UTME screening exercise.

  • Upload your O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal.

  • Be at least 16 years old before admission. 

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

Applicants seeking Direct Entry admission must:

  • Possess ND, NCE, HND, JUPEB, A-Level, or another recognized qualification.

  • Meet the O’Level requirements.

  • Apply through JAMB Direct Entry.

  • Upload all academic credentials to JAMB CAPS.

  • Meet departmental admission requirements.

Candidates must possess five (5) credit passes, which generally include:

  • English Language

  • Mathematics
