NDA Admission Requirements for 2026/2027

To qualify for admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy, candidates must satisfy the following conditions.

Nationality

Applicants must:

• Be Nigerian citizens by birth.

Age Requirement

Candidates must:

• Be at least 17 years old

• Not be more than 21 years old by August of the year of admission. 

Marital Status

Applicants must:

• Be single.

• Have no legal obligation to support any child or dependent. 

NDA O’Level Requirements

Candidates must possess:

• A minimum of five (5) credit passes

• Credits must include:

  • English Language

  • Mathematics

  • Three other subjects relevant to the chosen course
