AAP General Admission Requirements

To gain admission into any ND program, candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Choose Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic as their first-choice institution in JAMB or complete a Change of Institution before admission.

  • Score at least the minimum JAMB cut-off mark approved by the Polytechnic for the session.

  • Possess five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

  • Obtain the required credits in not more than two sittings using WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent examinations.

  • Have the correct UTME subject combination for the chosen course.

  • Complete the Polytechnic’s Post-UTME admission process. 

 

AAP O’Level Requirements

Science and engineering courses usually require credits in Physics, Chemistry, and other science subjects, while management courses generally require Economics, Commerce, or related subjects.

  • Appropriate science-based UTME subject combination.

School of Science and Technology

Courses include:

  • Computer Science

  • Science Laboratory Technology

  • Statistics

Requirements:

  • Credits in English Language, Mathematics, and relevant science subjects.

  • Correct science UTME subject combination. 

School of Environmental Studies

Courses include:

  • Architectural Technology

  • Building Technology

  • Estate Management and Valuation

  • Quantity Surveying

  • Urban and Regional Planning

Requirements:

  • Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and other relevant science or technical subjects depending on the program. 

Mass Communication

Applicants must have:

  • Five relevant O’Level credits, including English Language.

  • Appropriate UTME subjects for Mass Communication. 

 

AAP HND Admission Requirements

Candidates applying for Higher National Diploma (HND) programs must have:

  • A relevant National Diploma (ND) from a recognized institution.

  • At least a Lower Credit (or as specified by the Polytechnic).

  • One year or more of Industrial Training (IT) where applicable.

  • Required O’Level credits.

  • Academic transcript from the previous institution when required.
