GSU Admission Requirements for 2026/2027

To be eligible for admission into GSU, candidates must meet the following requirements:

UTME Requirements

• Choose GSU as your first-choice institution during JAMB registration.

• Obtain at least the minimum JAMB cut-off mark approved by the university for your chosen course.

• Possess five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics where applicable, in not more than two sittings.

• Participate in the GSU Post-UTME screening exercise if invited.

• Meet the departmental cut-off mark for your selected program. 

GSU O’Level Requirements

Candidates must have at least five credit passes in relevant subjects.

GSU Direct Entry Requirements

Direct Entry candidates must possess one of the following:

• ND with at least Lower Credit in a relevant field.

• NCE with Merit.

• IJMB or JUPEB qualification.

• Two A-Level passes in relevant subjects.

• HND or Bachelor’s degree where applicable.

Applicants must also satisfy the O’Level requirements for their chosen course.
