Generally, it is imperative for you to meet the cut-off mark! Also, all Candidates must attain a minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a maximum of 2 sittings.
General Admission Requirements for MAUTECH 2026/2027
To gain admission into MAU through UTME, candidates are expected to:
- Score at least the university’s approved UTME cut-off mark.
- Possess a minimum of five (5) O-Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
- Choose MAU as their first-choice institution or apply for a change of institution through JAMB.
- Meet the subject combination requirements for their chosen course.
- Participate in the university’s Post-UTME screening exercise.
Direct Entry Requirements
Direct Entry applicants should:
- Have at least five relevant O-Level credit passes.
- Possess acceptable qualifications such as ND, HND, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB, or GCE A-Level in relevant disciplines.
- Register through JAMB Direct Entry.
- Meet departmental admission requirements.
O-Level Requirements
Candidates are generally required to have credit passes in:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Three other subjects relevant to their intended course
Some programmes, such as Engineering, Medicine, and Science courses, require credits in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology where applicable.
