ABUAD Cut-off Mark 2026/2027
ABUAD JAMB/General Cut-off Mark 2026/2027
ABUAD cut-off mark is the minimum score that an ABUAD candidate must obtain to be considered for admission.
Now the question is, what is the difference between JAMB and ABUAD General cut-off mark?
JAMB Cut Off Mark is the minimum score set by JAMB for all institutions, while ABUAD general Cut-off Mark is the minimum score set by the authority and Management at ABUAD.
Different institution can set their cut-off mark; however, it must not be lower than the JAMB cut-off mark. Hope you understand!?
ABUAD Departmental Cut-off Mark 2026/2027
Departmental Cut-off Mark is the minimum score candidates must obtain to be considered for admission into a particular course of study. In simpler words, it is the cut-off mark set for each course.
ABUAD Cut-Off Mark 2026/2027 (Jamb & Departmental)
ABUAD Cut-Off Mark is purely based on the department or course involved.
The ABUAD courses and cut-off mark for admission are not static, and they are influenced by the following;
- General Performance: General performance among candidates aspiring to that course in SSCE, JAMB, and Post-UTME: The better the performance, the higher the department’s admission cut-off mark. The final admission cut-off mark is derived from the following: WAEC/NECO/NABTEB GPA (grade points from the relevant O’level subjects). Average the JAMB score and the post-UTME screening score.
- Admission Quota: Each department has admission quotas allocated by the Nigerian University Commission (NUC). For example, if the admission quota for Medicine and Surgery is 100, the department will not accept any more candidates after the quota is exhausted, regardless of the candidate’s score. In this case, the university admits candidates based on merit hierarchy (from the best candidate down to where the quota becomes exhausted). Let me just believe you understand me here.
