NDA 78 Regular Course Application Details

The NDA’s Regular Cadet admission process involves the UTME and the NDA Entrance Examination, which serves as the institution’s equivalent of a post-UTME screening examination.

NDA 2026/2027 Screening Test

Candidates who completed the application and met the required conditions were eligible to proceed to the NDA screening process.

For the 78th Regular Course, the screening test was scheduled for Saturday, 13 June 2026. Eligible candidates were instructed to select their preferred examination state before the specified deadline.

The screening test should not be confused with the initial online application. Applying for NDA does not automatically mean that a candidate has been admitted.

NDA UTME Cut-Off Mark 2026/2027

For the 78th Regular Course, candidates generally needed to meet the required JAMB UTME minimum score of 180 to qualify for the NDA screening process.

However, candidates applying for Engineering courses were required to score at least 210 in UTME, according to the NDA admission requirements.

Meeting the minimum score does not guarantee admission. Candidates must also satisfy the relevant O’Level, age, physical, medical, and other admission conditions.

NDA Admission Requirements 2026/2027

Candidates applying for admission into the NDA Regular Course are expected to meet the Academy’s prescribed requirements.

Some of the major requirements include:

• The applicant must be medically and physically fit.

• The applicant must have good moral character.

• The applicant must be single and have no legal obligation to support a child or another individual.

• The applicant must possess the required O’Level qualifications.

• Candidates must sit for the JAMB UTME with subjects relevant to their intended NDA course.

• Candidates must satisfy the specific requirements for their chosen course.

The NDA’s published admission material confirms that the Regular Course admission process starts with the electronic application, followed by JAMB UTME, the NDA Entrance Examination, and subsequent selection stages.

O’Level Requirements for NDA
