Plateau State University (PLASU), Bokkos offers a wide range of undergraduate programs across Agriculture, Arts, Computing, Education, Environmental Sciences, Health Sciences, Law, Management Sciences, Medicine, Natural and Applied Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Social Science.

For the 2026/2027 academic session, candidates must meet the University’s admission requirements and satisfy the subject combination for their chosen program.

PLASU Courses and Requirements 2024/2025

PLASU General Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission into PLASU, candidates must:

  • Choose Plateau State University (PLASU) as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME.
  • Score a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME. Some competitive courses require higher scores.
  • Possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects.
  • Obtain the required O’Level credits in not more than two sittings.
  • Upload their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal.
  • Register for and complete the PLASU Post-UTME screening.

PLASU Direct Entry Requirements

Direct Entry applicants must:

  • Choose PLASU as their first-choice institution through JAMB Direct Entry.
  • Possess one of the following:
    • ND with at least Lower Credit.
    • HND.
    • NCE with at least Merit.
    • IJMB or JUPEB with a minimum of 6 points.
    • A recognized first degree (where applicable).
  • Meet the O’Level requirements for their chosen program.

 

PLASU O’Level Requirements

PLASU accepts results from:

  • WAEC
  • NECO
  • NABTEB

Candidates must obtain five relevant credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

 

PLASU Required Documents

Applicants should have:

  • JAMB UTME or Direct Entry registration slip
  • O’Level result(s)
  • Birth certificate or declaration of age
  • Certificate of indigene/origin
